For AW21 we turn to London - with a particular focus on Soho for inspiration. Showing Londoners a good time for
centuries, its messy grid of streets and narrow alleyways is grubby, swanky and sexy in equal parts. A bunch of famous faces, including Mozart, Karl Marx and the Sex Pistols, have called it home over the years, and it’s still got something of a sleazy reputation, with more than a handful of sex shops, strip
clubs and sex-positive bars remaining from its days as London’s main red light
district.
MUSE
We could look no further than Kate Moss when we were talking all things muse. Since she burst on to the scene aged 16 via the cover of The Face, and in the accompanying shoot titled ‘The 3rd Summer of Love’, she went on to become one of the greatest supermodels in history.

SOHO SOUNDS
The Britpop movement of the 90s is our musical inspo this season. Characterised by regional accents, working-class culture and ‘boys in bands’, these bands turned to different kinds of rock from the 60’s and 70’s made by the Beatles and the Kinks, and from 80’s indie rock, most notably music by the Smiths, for inspiration.
However, it was 1994 that would become a defining year for Britpop with Blur and Oasis becoming two of the most popular bands in Britain.
