We spoke to our dear friend and collaborator Vania - Jewellery Designer and creative force behind VANIA - a contemporary jewellery brand based in Auckland. Founded in 2017, her pieces are inspired by nature and its gems, by music and the way it makes us feel, as well as seasons and their varying colours.
We have collaborated with Vania since we launched The Luxe Edit and have loved getting to know her through this process and invite you to get to know her also....
I grew up in Venezuela within a family and tribe of creators, lovers, dreamers and wanderers. It was common to have the help of tribal women in raising children - and Dionicia, a woman from the Wayuu tribe, was by my mother’s side during my childhood and I believe I got my love for all things handmade from her.
